Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Azure Administration:
- Manage and optimize our Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Monitor performance, scalability, and security of Azure resources.
- Implement best practices for Azure deployment and management.
- Microsoft SQL Server:
- Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database design.
- Trading Environment:
- Understand the unique requirements of a trading environment.
- Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with trading strategies.
- Familiarity with trading systems, market data feeds, and order execution platforms.
- Information Security and Network Management:
- Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures.
- Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Python Programming and Data Analytics:
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis tasks.
- Collaborate with data scientists to extract insights from large datasets.
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field. - Experience in IT management, with a focus on Azure and SQL Server.
- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-500) preferred.
- Strong understanding of trading environments and financial markets.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
