IT Manager

Located: Princeton NJ | Full-Time

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our technology infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, security, and alignment with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage projects, and provide technical leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Azure Administration:
    • Manage and optimize our Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
    • Monitor performance, scalability, and security of Azure resources.
    • Implement best practices for Azure deployment and management.
  • Microsoft SQL Server:
    • Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
    • Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database design.
  • Trading Environment:
    • Understand the unique requirements of a trading environment.
    • Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with trading strategies.
    • Familiarity with trading systems, market data feeds, and order execution platforms.
  • Information Security and Network Management:
    • Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures.
    • Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
    • Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Python Programming and Data Analytics:
    • Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis tasks.
    • Collaborate with data scientists to extract insights from large datasets.
    • Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
    • Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
    field.
  •  Experience in IT management, with a focus on Azure and SQL Server.
  •  Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-500) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trading environments and financial markets.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
