- Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Implementation & Trading
- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across client portfolios.
- Oversee trade implementation, rebalancing, and execution workflows, including coordination of cash flows, benchmark changes, and corporate actions.
- Monitor portfolio positions to ensure consistency with investment intent, client mandates, and regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze and manage transaction costs, turnover, liquidity, and capacity considerations.
- Support account transitions, onboarding, and mandate changes, ensuring minimal tracking error and implementation risk.
- Portfolio Construction & Risk Management
- Support the design and ongoing maintenance of equity portfolios, including position sizing, constraints, and diversification.
- Analyze and monitor portfolio exposures (e.g., sector, factor, country, currency) and ensure alignment with target risk profiles.
- Conduct risk and scenario analysis, including stress testing and dispersion monitoring across accounts.
- Assist in the development and refinement of portfolio construction frameworks, including optimization inputs and constraints.
- Identify unintended risks and work with Portfolio Managers to propose and implement corrective actions.
- Analysis, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Deliver value-added analytics, including performance attribution, exposure tracking, and custom portfolio reporting.
- Develop tools and dashboards to improve portfolio monitoring, implementation efficiency, and transparency.
- Partner with Investment Implementation Technology to enhance portfolio construction, trading, and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk.

- Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in investment management with exposure to portfolio construction, implementation, trading, and/or investment operations.
- Strong academic background; undergraduate degree required in a quantitative or finance-related field.
- Postgraduate degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA), or progress toward one, is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of equity markets and multi-asset capital markets, including global equities, commodities, and energy derivatives.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in portfolio construction methodologies, risk budgeting, and constraint-based investing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced investment environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Technology teams.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, portfolio analytics, or tooling; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, trading platforms, and risk systems is a plus.
